well i decided my 72 lb sub wasn't hitting the mids just right so i decided to get some more speakers. this is just for midbass and rear fill.

1000 yes and it does its job on the lows but need something to fill in the higher freq bass. i stood outside of the kj for the first time with the windows down and at about 1/2 volume and i could see the doors flexing out, the roof was flexing almost a whole inch, and the windows were shaking quite violently. it's as loud as my 4 earthquakes were, sounds alot better, takes 1.5 cubic feet less to do it but it underpowered by 400-600 watts so as soon as i get the upgraded amp it'll be alot louder  and while i'm here i just got done with the 6x9 rack (built but not dressed up).

why 6x9's? You should've gone with some 6.5 mid woofers and if you really needed the extra tweets put them in the pillars.

i went with 6x9s cause they look pretty sweet like that and they sound pretty good. they're only for rear fill and to make the rear passengers go def.

well it is pretty darn loud. if i stick my head close to the windshield my brain starts rattling. this sub gets pretty low and will play 10hz without a problem where as most other subs just make terrible noise and blow up. i get a high pitched wine as i apply the gas kinda sounds like an old school bus heh. got to close the ground loop to get rid of the engine noise going through the speakers. it gets pretty violent when i play hip hop and rap songs. i was making my buddies xj rattle pretty bad cause he thought his sony explodes were louder but i showed him heh. i also picked up a 93 lesabre while i was there. best 40 bucks i ever spent. anyways back on topic if anybody sits in the kj they usually put their fingers into their ears and rub their nose specially if they're wearing glasses. no broken anything yet except for the rear shocks which i'm still waiting on from jeepinbyal.
