Ok, I read a post where someone did a modification to run the fog lights with the high beams on. This was apparently done on an '02 but was supposedly a modification that could be done to even an '05 +. My question is, can this be done on the newer kk models. I attempted this but was only able to go as far as looking under my dash. There does not appear to be any relays under the dash of the '08's like there is on the KJ. The only place I found the relays was under the hood in the fuse box area but still was unable to find where the relay specifically for the multi-functional controller . I posted this question on another forum only to have the thread hijacked and then left without an answer. Just wondering if this can be done with the kk. On the other forum, the only thing that was said was I would end up frying my BCM and that this was an illegal modification. I don't understand why the BCM would get fried since I don't believe there is THAT much difference in current between the high and low beams. I also don't care whether it is "illegal" to run the high beams and fog lights together on the road. I just want to know if and how this can be done on the new KK. |
