so i have seen the install of the cobra 75
but not mention one about the cobra 76 they have
looks like the only difference is the tradeout of the weather channels for a pa plug
anybody heard of these or anything about it???

I am pretty sure that the 75 is disco'd. I never heard of the 76, but it's probably the replacement. A PA output would be cool!

Actually the Cobra 75 WX ST is alive and well most everywhere. As for the 76 WX ST, Cobra eliminated both weather channels and scanning capabilities. After shopping for the best price, I ended up buying a 75 WX ST from a CB Shop on eBay. It hasn't arrived yet. I was thinking the perfect place to mount the box would be in the center console where I could also hide the mic from view. Just a thought.
