How do you like it? Is it worth the 12 bucks a month? Also do they have a MLB channel? IF not what would I need to do to get XM on my stock head unit? IS it possible or not?

hey MTNKID---i have the Sirius radio and i love it. and yes it had the MLB channel, 3 or 4 i think. the only real propblem that i have with it is when im wheeling in the woods. it cuts out due to overhead cover. i dont have a pic of it, but i placed mine right above the stock radio and in between the 2 vents above that. used this stuff callled velcro, the NASA approved type, and just stuck it there. hard wired into the fuse box using the radio and lighter fuse, and then ran the antenna wire through the dash and out the engine bay, and up the windshield weather stripping, tuck away from sight. and placed the antenna magnet in the middle about 12" above the windshield.

need anymore info about this, let me know.

Thanks for the info. I would assume that they would have an MLB channel but I called the first girl said they dont offer that, then I called again and got the same answer. But my friends dad has it and he said he had listened to a few games before. I guess the previous owner of my car already had it hooked up to the stock radio so all I need to do his call to activate the service.

I have had it in both Jeeps and I really liked it. I love Howard Stern! Anyway I have kept it in the TJ and no longer have it in the KJ. I found for the price of 2 years I could get an MP3 player and a bunch of songs and listen to what I want instead of what they play. Still debating about keeping the service in the TJ as it comes due here next month. Just seems pricey for getting Stern and Hair Nation..........................lol

I do not have it in my KJ but my wife does in her VW. She had an aftermarket XM and we didn't like it. She got Sirius in her new car and we both love it. The channels are a lot better and much less commercials. The two are also merging though so you may wanna keep an eye on that before you make a decision.

I have Sirius and love it. Howard Stern fan in the mornings and Bluegrass the rest of the day. They do not have MLB, that would be XM. Now that their merger has been approved and made official they will be offering specialty programming like MLB on both networks so it's a win-win, just pick a good radio.

I will say that I get angry at all the commercials on XM. I thought that was the whole point of PAYING for radio. They actually had a contract issue that allowed some partner company of theirs to air commercials. I think that arrangement ran out earlier this year, but they didn't drop the commercials. Still makes me mad a lot. For this reason alone, I probably won't renew mine when it runs out in a couple months...

Sirius has commercials too, but not on the music channels. I love mine, and have the same issue with the billing as john jr. 8) It makes road trips soooo much better.

I happen to subscribe to XM radio and can't believe the amount and more importantly the type of advertising I hear on the XM comedy channels. Its a nonstop bombardment of viagra ads!

Still I love my satellite radio for the variety of entertainment and all the jokes I can hear but not repeat on XM comedy

I will chime in on the other side.

I had it for the first year free after buying the KJ new. I will never re-up with them. Just to darned expensive to me. I never saw the point of paying for radio. Besides I hate Stern and his antics. Don't get me wrong. I love Titties and all that, just some foul mouthed jerk who could never get any of those women in the first place if he wasn't on the air seams pretty stupid to me.

Anyway, some people like him others can do without him. I decided to disconnect mine and use the port on the back of the radio as an aux. port for my iPhone 3g and the iPod. ALL the music and Home Brew Pod Casts I can get and FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I already own the music. I too did like the Blugrass station on Sirius, but not worth keeping the subscription for.

Hey here's one:

Wife is complaining about her bust size to her husband and wants him to pay for an enhancement procedure. Tells her to take toilet paper and rub it between her breasts every day for a few months. To her amazement she asks if that really works?

He said It sure worked on your stupid.......

Can anyone give me a guess as to where the factory-installed Sirius receiver is in my '06 Liberty? I can follow the cable underneath the gearbox, but then it disappears. Thanks!

Try looking in the passenger side rear quarter panel cover. The receiver in my KJ is back there. Open the tailgate, and pull the plastic gently off the right side. Might wan to lower the seat back first. It should be bolted inside the fender there.
