Post subject:  installing sound damping, window leakage normal?

I have been installing sound damping material in my doors in my spare time over the last few weekends. I have been using spray sound damping on the inside surface of the outer door shell and on the inside of the plastic door panel, as well as Cascade Audio VB-2 sound damping mat (non-asphalt based dynamat alternative) over the interior door shell.

The passenger doors are all done and interior panels are back on, but I am still working on the driver doors. Last sunday I sprayed the drivers side doors and panels and had to wait for them to dry before applying the mat over the door. It was a rainy saturday today, and I was going to apply the mat over the doors today. However, before I started I noticed there was water dripping into the door from both sides of the window track. It wasn't a lot...no accumulation really but enough for me to be concerned about. I haven't checked the passenger side yet because I really don't want to rip off the mat I worked so hard to install. Now, I have had all 4 window regulators replaced under factory warranty. Are windows typically 100% watertight? Is this normal? I have a feeling that if I take it to the dealership now, they will tell me to go screw myself. Is there anything I can do myself to seal it up? Opinions, and/or experiences anybody? Thanks.

Normal, you should also notice the drains in the bottom of the doors where the inner/outer skins are joined to drain that water.
