My Cobra 19 is mounted to the passenger side of the plastic base of the shifter console. I'm considering moving it, but not haven't made up my mind on location. Where is your radio mounted? |

I'm considering moving it, but not haven't made up my mind on location. Where is your radio mounted? i have mine velcroed between the passenger seat and the center console. its outa the way and i didn't stick anything there in the first place so it seemed logical |

Held in place with 100 lb loctite double sided tape. The thing doesn't so much as wobble even when Ive been bouncing my head off the ceiling. I will run the wires properly someday. |

Here is how mine is mounted. It LOOKS like it will be in the way. But it's not. I'm almost 6' tall and my knee does not even come close to it. The bracket is mounted using the factory dash holes. Also, I left that plastic cover off that part.

When I replaced the Cobra with the Galaxy, I decided to keep everything the same. The Galaxy is a much larger radio. It fits well on the side of the shift column with my 3 port 12 volt receptacle. |
