I have a new 2008 KK limited with the Infinity stereo, but my KK did not come equipped with any of the uconnect hardware. I am getting ready to replace the head unit with a new Pioneer AVIC F900BT nav system. The new head unit is bluetooth equipped, and comes with a mic to be mounted in the car. My question is as follows.

Although I do not have the hardware for any uConnect components, it looks like the mic is already installed (at least I'm assuming that it's a microphone sitting up top just to the left of the map lights). Does anyone know if that mic comes already wired from the factory? If so does it have a standard 2.5mm jack that would work with the new head unit?

It would be really nice to be able to use any existing mic instead of having to find someplace to mount an aftermarket one.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
