Post subject:  stereo question
i started my jeep yesterday and was going off roading with my schools club and i went to turn the radio on and nothing happened. there is a cd in there two and that wont eject either, the only thing that the stereo is useful for now is to tell the time. i tried removing fuses numbers 18 and 21 but that did not work anyone have any suggestions?

our stereo heads are pretty crappy =\

had same problem on my friends wrangler, the volume/power knob button is probably jacked up

chances are, it's not actually turning on when you press the knob back out

try using your fingernail to pull the knob towards you as you press it in and keep pressing as it comes out

apparently a stationary volume knob and a power Button was too much to ask for

is there a way to take the knob off because i tried pulling it out and messing with the knob but still nothing. and if i push the eject button it doesn't do anything the cd is stuck.
