ok so my wife is having problems with the reverse lights on our 05 Libby , for the most part they don't work but on occasion they do , i thought about the Neutral Safty Swith , but considering it is a 6 speed manual that rules that out anyone have any suggestions to what may be causeing this to happen??

i have checked all fuses and wire connections and nothing seems to be wrong , the only thing i have done to it was added a direct plug in wiring harness for trailer lights , but that was several months before the light issues started....

Can nobody help me out with this , inspection is coming up and i need to get this taken care of....

I'm not familiar with the Liberty's transmissions but I'd have to assume that there's a "reverse" switch on it that either closes a connection or grounds out a line from the reverse tailights. Maybe the switch or the wiring is flaky.

pull the lights and check for power, than start working your way back.

ok thank you , i will try to locate the reverse switch and try to back track my wiring...hopefully i find something there....
