Thinking of replacing the stock premium speakers with:

Sub: Rockford Fosgate Prime R1L-1X10
Comp: Alpine SPS-600C or Here

Possibly later Alpine SPS-600 for the rear for another $75

Wires, installation, tax, headache and insanity is extra. Do you think it is worth it?

I went with this instead:
Amp: Alpine MRP-F300
Sub: Rockford Fosgate Stage P2L-110 Loaded with P2D210
Plus amp wiring kit.
Comp: Kept stock for now... Will try to repair stock door speakers and keep bass low.

Will this amp be enough for components and the sub?
Since head unit has sub pre amp outputs I won't need a cross over.

You could find an amp closer to the RMS rating and speaker RMS rating if you like. If you are really looking to go 5 channesl later I would look at a 5 channel amp.
