Post subject:  Mounting a Roady2 XM Radio

I need some ideas for mounting a roady2 in the jeep. I got one for xmas and now i just need to mount it. I was thinking about a plate but not sure. Could anyone post pictures or say how they did theirs?

Thanks all!

I haved mine for 2 months now and useing the cheezy dash vent mount.......
last night i was on the crutchfield sight and found that they carry a metal bracket mount thats made just for the Liberty.
it has a tab that mounts w/3 self taping screws behind the center stack and sticks out between the trim and the dash.
PN:042JP7302 Pro.Fit JP-73-02 Jeep Liberty 02-Up.......$35.99 w/free shiping.
it said that it is made to mount to the right of the heat/AC controls.
sorry i dont have any pic yet. hopefully it will be here sometime this week. They have a pic of it installed in a Liberty on the website.

Here is a pic of my skyfi2 mounted with the mount from crutchfield mentioned above. A bit pricey, but very polished looking.

As for the antenna, I mounted it here:

yeah i discovered this mount also. I like it just not sure that i want it on that side of the radio. Does it feel too far away to use? Is the mount solid? Does it get in the way of the passenger?

thanks

It is the perfect spot in my opinion. The mount is as solid as a bent piece of metal can be ... I haven't had a passenger complain yet.
