We had a police car come into my work for testing and I was playing with the spotlights. Now I want to get a good police style spotlight. Have any of you used a light like this? http://unityusa.com/detail.aspx?ID=1395 |

i looked at doing this but i think to make them work you would have to notch out the door piller like the chevy police cars have done.. because when you mount it in the a piller you have to be able to open the door ... I would love to have a spotlight on the drivers door. wife wont let me cut into the jeep till its payed off |

They make a kit that works with the Libertys, have seen them on their webpage and on a few Libertys here in Toledo, they ( the mounting kits ) are expensive but not anymore than a set of good spot lights ( which you can buy used on eBay |

Have you seen the Golight remote control lights? Those serve the same purpose but they're much nicer and they also have a version with a magnetic base. Here's a nice model: http://www.golight.com/products/newproducts/gobee.html |
