Three systems all die at the same time

When I left to drive home from work last night, I noticed that my EVIC was showing "--" for average MPG. The compass and thermometer still worked, but all the "recordkeeping" functions were offline. Then I noticed that my AC was not blowing dry air (i.e. no compressor running) and then I noticed my steering wheel controls for the stereo were not functioning. I stopped on the way home for an errand and when I got back in and fired up the jeep, everything was working normally...

Anyone have any idea what this could be and if it stopping (even just for a little while) is indicative of a larger problem?

I did let the jeep get wet (light misting rain, nothing hard), but it wasn't any eating anything after midnight... so I doubt it.
