got a little bit of any issue, only my 3rd brake like works, i checked the bulbs in the tail light assemblys and they are all good, so basically the only think it can be is a break in a wire somewhere, but the thing is wouldn't the 3rd brake light get its power from the tail lights, is there some stupid fuse that i dont know about, thanks

If you don't mind my asking did you ever find out the problem? I have the exact same problem on my 2003 KJ.

I had that happen to me in a Chevy Sedan...Turned out to be the Turn Signal/Hazard switch in the steering column.

Remove the taillights and fiddle with the connector to see if it is the connector problem, although it is unlikely that both would go bad at the same time.
