I'm trying to get a resolution on this adapter:

It looks like the best adapter out there for our Jeeps. However, it says it will not work with SKIS. My understanding is that if you have the key with the built in buttons that you have the SKIS. However, I see several installs around the net that seem to be on newer KJs. Can anyone confirm or deny the status with this? I have an 05 CRD with the RB1 nav setup. This would be perfect for what I need. I'm also considering this as an alternative:

It also seems pretty nice, but it does not allow you to see your song/artist info on the head unit.

Any info on these is appreciated, preferably personal experience.
