So you need advice for hooking it up??? The white is ground. Get a test light or meter, turn on running lights, check to see which wire is hot with that function, same for turn signals, mark each wire as to which function, then wire into matching wire/post on new connector ( they should be marked or have diagram in package). |

In most cases I would say yes to your question, I've always done it with my Trucks/SUV's, just have to find what wire is hot for specific functions then hook up to your 4 wire, some may have two supply wires i.e. both a turn sig and stop light on one wire. I bought a plug and play 4 wire unit for my Libby, so I'm not so sure on it. Hopefully someone else will give you an answer. |

Do you have the stock mopar 7pin wiring? Are you just trying to replace the stock 7 pin connector? If yes to those, you should have 7 wires for 7 pins. What does the connector look like that you bought?? This is how mine is: White is ground Blue is electric brake wire Black is POSITIVE 12 volts(for charging batteries on trailers, etc) Yellow is Reverse lock out(Used for reverse lights on trailers, lock out solenoids for surge brakes, etc.) You should also have 3 more wires for brake lights, turn signals, and park lights. |
