2 part problem bear with me! PROBLEM 1...Ok so when my dad and I first installed my lights on the bumper the easy way... took them through the door. You can see the wires when opening and closing the door. How do I get the wires from the batt. to switch in the dash without exposing wires like some of you have? Pictures? PROBLEM 2... I also have 4 kcs up on my roof basket yet to be wired. what is the easiest way to wire those down to the battery and back into the dash? I'm guessing drilling IS required and I'm NOT worring about it. Once again pictures would be nice... If you need pictures to help you understand what I mean or to help me just let me know and I will snap some in the am! Thanks guys, I know I can count on you guys giving me the knowledge to do it myself rather than fork over cash and never get the expierence

from the front bumper to the dash switch, there's a firewall gromet above your left foot in the drivers seat, need to carefully open a hole in it and push the wires through, make sure the hole is small enough that it closes around the wire, and that you don't push the gromet through to either side, a sharpened coat hanger works pretty good roof lights, drill a hole and run the wires down the passenger Pillar near the windshield and out to the engine bay via the gromet for the radio antenna cable have to take the passenger visor off so that the headliner can droop down to keep from drilling into the headliner, other than that, it's go fish |

I finally found the penetration for the firewall! after pulling off lots of trim and moving carpet I now know where it is. I'm going to rewire my lights the afternoon hopefully and MAYBE do the roofrack. How should I seal the hole in the roof? |

Forgot to mention the gromet was hidden by the leading edge of the carpet/padding , glad ya found it though for the roof, I'd get the same gromet that they use on the aftermarket "Renny" light bars. There's two or three threads for that on here, plus, it'll give you access to much more detailed information as to how to do it easily without making a mess. TonyCRD has a nice walkthrough but basically a gromet and black RTV will sealer up is the short answer |

Ok three questions now... I cant find that gromet from the engine compartment! should I just push through the inside with a hanger to find it? and if I do that do I absolutely have to seal it up later? And just any size gromet for the roof will work? |
