a 4 or 5 channel amp and maybe a couple of subwoofers.
and of course, a box for the subwoofers.

Hope it helps ya, out of my stuff i saved about a hundred or so from other places online, but if i went to best buy and got it i saved about 300 bucks

Good luck

http://www.crutchfield.com gives excellent support, warranty and installation services. (As well as all mounting hardware and disassembly instructions)

I usually bargain shop when I can but only after checking the real specs on Crutchfield.

Couple of subs and a 4 or 5 channel? How experienced are you with this topic. 2 channels is good for 1 or 2 subs.. not sure how you plan to utilize the 5 channels unless you are going to amp everything. Good luck!

I guess I should've been more specific. What brands? The good brands are not good to buy just anywhere because the product gets damaged when they remove the serial numbers. Most brands come from the same Chinese factory with only cosmetics to differentiate one from another and they don't care where you're buying them. If you're into those brands, just buy whatever and wherever is cheapest.

oh my bad. uh i was looking at a kenwood amp and a couple of kicker subs cause they are on sale right now at bestbuy. i'll put the links below and maybe ya'll can give better suggestions? i don't have a lot of money to spend. i actually got quote from bestbuy for this and it was going to cost $300 more than i expected. i don't really listen to rap, just rock and country so don't need anything spectacular. just getting this because my new speakers don't have the bass that the old system did. thanks!

I've personally had nothing but good experiences with www.sonicelectronix.com good selection low prices and good customer service. The seller hifisoundconnection on ebay is good, so is car stereo shark. Woofersect.com is good too.
