mopar sub need help

I purchased a used mopar sub on ebay abd the guy told me the wire to plug it tin was in all libby's from factory is this true or not because I can't find it in mine?

The guy you bought your subwoofer from on ebay is mistaken. The wiring harness for the sub is not equipped from the factory. Maybe he bought his Liberty used w/sub already installed and assumed the harness was factory.
You've got to get that wiring harness (and installation instructions) from him. I don't know if you can order just the harness from Jeep parts, but if you can, make sure you get the harness for your year Liberty.

I bought a new one now and it comes with the harness but some people say that the 03's needed an aditional part for it to work.Does anyone know?

That's what they say so when I got mine, I ordered the "adapter wedge" and it was a little blue piece of plastic that looked identical to the little blue piece of plastic that was already there.
