I just got the mount for CB in the mail today. I used the Firestick kit for the Dodge Ram hood (MK184R from Walcot CB)



The hole is already in the side of the panel and it lined up perfectly with the mount. I used a 5/16 bolt (3/4" long) with a couple washers, a lock washer, and a nut. Holds nicely.

I haven't finished wiring it up, yet. I think I will try to snake the cable through the firewall-hole if I can figure out how to get the plug out.

Should be good for keeping an eye on the CB when going under stuff. Also, it bends down so you can grab it in the drivers seat, if need be.
