SO lets plan on closing this month out on the 10th....

Also watch out real soon for the 2011 ROTM category suggestion post

Ok Larry here goes. Not sure how crazy it is but I have not seen anyone else make one. I made a Gerry can holder for the back of the kj. Nobody makes anything for it without spending big bucks on a bumper. It is kinda ugly and I plan on redoing it (to make it look better) this winter as it passed the offroad test in moab last spring. I think I spent about 30 bucks on it and used up some steel I saved from tearing out a old elevator. It hinges out of the way for the tailgate just by taking a T handle bolt out. And the whole thing comes off in a few min.

I believe I was the first KK to cut the stock bumper for the Detours Backbone. Someone mentioned I was crazy for cutting on a new vehicle.

BTW, this is me stuck on a tree, underwater, in a swampy creek.

Speaking of cutting...

I had to hack some wires on the ECU to install the SEGR kit. It was a very nervousing task....

You can see here all the wires that were cut and connected to the SEGR kit.

nothing real crazy but some firsts before any other KJ owner
So here goes nothing as always...
First to cut the bottom off the stock rear bumper

or maybe it should of been the first to drill one inch holes in the door handles after seeing the Liberator
or first to use a street sign for a front skid to keep dirt out of the engine skid
or
cutting holes in the hood for louvers

Went with Surf this go round.Permanent rod holders are crazy, but have a really nice look.
The only thing crazy about Chris's mod is that he used a whole roll of tape to cut two holes in the hood. Looks like he was ready for a breakdancing session up there.
