Well, after an oil change by the dealer (I wasn't in the area to do the change myself) the dealer puts in P/N 04798231, which they said was the "diesel oil". Right, this sounds bad. Well, that P/N turns out to be the oil for the Dodge Cummins, and its a 15W-40! It has been really ahrd starting since the change, although still getting 29mpg highway. This explains it.

Please, don't go to your dealership for changes unless you demand to see the oil they will put in. Instead, just go to a recommended mechanic and specify which oil (Rotella T, Delvac 1 5W-40 et al).

Its only been in for 1500 or so, and I'll get it out Saturday.

(I got hit by a car while jogging in January, broke my left lower leg, so I've been out of car-commission and out of the area, thus the dealership change)
