05 CRD will not start. When key is turned on, no glow plug light, no starter, rear window opens, dash lights flutter on & off, noise in dash sounds like a cell phone on vibrate?
Can't pull codes as vehicle is stranded currently.
Thanks in advance,
Bob

That doesn't sound like skim to me. Skim will let engine start for a couple of seconds, them it turns off. This happened to me when one of my keys died unexpectedly. Had to call locksmith to reprogram as I only had one key left.

Yeah that does not sound like the SKIM at all.

First thing is to check the battery and all its connections then follow the link that papaindigo posted!

Had similiar problem & issue was found to be the TCM. Jeep wouldn't recognize that it was in park. TCM sends signal that it is actually in park.
