I need to pull the CP3 from my 2006 Jeep Liberty 2.8 crd. I bought the Miller VM.1067 tool so I won't lose the timing but can't get the tool to install. No directions came with it but I figure the small dogs must pass through the sprocket holes and lock the fixture to the sprocket. The dogs won't pass through the holes and I'm wondering if I need to grind them to fit? Has anyone used this tool and can give me some help?
