As much as I enjoyed my 2006 Liberty CRD over the years, it is time to let it go, due to old age health problems. I hang a blue placard on my mirror when I park and set off magnetometers with my titanium hip.
Rocker panels and lower doors have been consumed by the Illinois salt monster.
Transmission has a Suncoast torque converter and an extra deep PML pan, but the front pump is tired and does not like to stop at stop signs or stop lights, I had to shift into Neutral to avoid the shutter.
Power steering does not like to work unless you are going down the road.
AC blew out the high pressure release valve on the compressor.
Engine runs great but is due for a timing belt 200K +.
I used Amzoil 10W-30 high zinc oil to save the top end.
Suspension is in good condition.
I saw a place wanting 2K for a complete CRD engine, just a a reference.
Would make a good organ donor.
Send me a PM if interested.
