Oh right, but I am pretty sure it kills engine power too. The ESP like up above.

The wiring connector to the ABS module being unplugged should have NO effect on engine running according to what I see on the wiring diagrams.
Only way to find out for sure is to unplug it. :juggle:

So on the maiden voyage after the lift pump install, I had the wife with me, we both heard a squeak while turning to the right, and loading up the bearing on the left side, so like my other CRD I used to own, same problem was trouble shot, and repaired the same way. I found a good deal on Moogs on Ebay, seller has 2, but both are left side, the only difference is the orientation of the wire, I am sure the ABS trigger will work just fine, so should I pull the trigger, and get them both? Already ordered 1.

So I got the Moog bearing, Hecho En China. Fingers crossed, gonna get on it this week, also new brake calipers all around, as they are rusty from the salt belt, and like to cause heavy wear on the inner pads.

All set now, was the front left bearing as suspected, Jeep was quiet before I even got off the gravel road, and on to the paved road. :pepper:

New pads, rotors, and calipers, and brake fluid flush all around too.

I am going to take a break from Just Empty Every Pocket for a while, next will be tranny fluid, leak in tranny pan, Transfer Case fluid, an Power Steering fluid. Nice winter project.

Glad you got it solved!

When your pocketbook recovers, seriously consider installing one of the PML cast aluminum transmission oil pans, or one of the other high quality aluminum oil pans with cooling fins, and equipped with a drain plug and a threaded temperature sensor hole. Deep sump is best if you have the room.
PML Offers three versions, stock, 2 quarts extra fluid capacity, and a deep sump that holds an extra 4 quarts ATF+4.
Part numbers:
Stock: 11078
2 Qts extra: 11079
4 Qts extra: 10304

And to go with a cast aluminum oil pan, consider using the LubeLocker oil pan gasket which is impregnated with silicone sealant and is reusable.

**And ONLY USE the Mopar brand round filter inside the transmission, OEM Number: 5179267AD

I already put a drain plug in the stock pan, put one in my pickup truck as well. I already changed fluid, and filters in my Jeep a few times over the past 20 years.
With a Hemi transmission not towing anything, I doubt it needs anything extra.
