I run B100 in all 3 of my Diesel vehicles and except for cold weather starts, I have had nothing but positive results. as far as I am concerned the positives by far out weigh the negatives, so far.
But what are the positives? Once again, please forgive my ignorance as I am trying to determine the best fuel to fun in my new CRD.
If you don't have a good, reliable, high volume source it may be a moot point. Here in the midwest we have Co-Ops that produce bio fuels and regular fuels. I get my diesel from a Co-Op that only has 2% biodiesel, but the other 98% is only american sourced oil. So, I can feel good about that.
My understanding is that even as low as 2% is good for the engine. Right now I'm having a brain freeze, so I can't remember the list of good things other than maybe good lubricity for the injection system and a cleaner burn resulting in lower emissions for the environment.
