On mine the dealer did not tighten the band clamp (turbo to exhaust) properly and it was loud and smelly when you pop the hood with the engine idling.
My turbo problems continue with the CRD in the dealer twice last week, once this week and scheduled for 3 days next week. They are leaning towards the Cat Converter being faulty, its not that. I'm staying the coarse and letting them change whatever they want as I see this as the only means to an end, come to think of it, there's not much else to change.
It went to the shop for 3 days, the cat was not replaced, Good. DC Engineering says my engine must be "gummed up" so they put a half bottle of mopar diesel injector cleaner in the fuel tank and they tell me to see what happens over the next week. They also state I need to fuel up at Chevron as reports indicate there are problems with the CRD plugging up. What a bunch of BS! The fuel injection is solid and the injectors will never be a problem, the intake will plug over time but injector additive will never help here. It goes in the shop late next week when the alarm/system receiver arrives. The dealership is pulling thier hair out over this and following DC's order. Does any one know, when a dealer ship farts around with a vehicle like this, does DC pay or out of the dealers pocket. I know this time they put 135KM on trying different things.
