It's a bit farther up RT 113 but we use Bergey's in Franconia PA for stealership warranty service. They have a large diesel service department on site and seem to understand the little tractor. Only thing denied so far was the CAC clean out when they replaced the CAC hoses. BTW we had a fuel solenoid fail around the 12K mark that caused the engine to stall.

They just replaced the solenoid and it didn't make a difference. Now they're going to replace all 4 fuel injectors. I doubt that will do anything either.

I pulled the heater plug off the fuel head, and guess what- fuel all over it. From what everyone has said that indicates an air leak in the system. Maybe I can at least get them to replace the fuel head assembly while they're in there.

Unfortunately it is over at D'Ambrosios. I'll keep Bergey's in mind next time. I hear good things about Country Dodge near Oxford too.

If you have fuel coming out of the heater plug - you have huge amounts of air going in -while running it's under vacuum so it's supposed to be sealed and a diesel molecule is about 20-30 times larger than an O2 or N2 molecule in the air.

Just remove the intake plenum and put a bunch of rags to catch the run off when you spray brake cleaner through a long thin tube at the hole for the Boost sensor. There is also a plug on the other side of the intake manifold. You can remove that to spray the other side. After you put it back togther just run it hard down the 30 bypass for a few miles. It will smoke a bit then clear up. If you don't want to remove the plenum just spray the brake cleaner in and run it hard...."

THIS is really want to see. I would like a way to clean out my intake that doesn't require
removing the rail and everything. Please post pics if you can Mr. GoodCRD.

The bad news here is Country is also owned by the D'Ambrosio group. As for pictures with respect to intake manifold cleanout. There is none. Just pull the boost sensor out and spray brake cleaner in there. You want to use the longest extension tube you can get. If you don't remove the intake plenum don't flood the intake. The spray will liquify the goo. Then run the engine to burn it off. You can also clean your turbo the same way. I strongly recommend changing your engine oil after doing this due to cleaner leaking past your rings and contaminating your engine oil. There is also an oil return in the intake which leads right back into the crankcase.

Doubt it. 20 pounds of boost would be a little rough on seals. :P
