'63 was the year that cars had to have the CCV. It was the end all solution to LA Smog. Diesels got a few more years before the CCV was imposed, but it came along. GMCTD did not like the oil spots on the driveway and went to the Provert. I was inspired by the TDI Wagonguy oil separator and made one for my CRD that works.
