What Joe said. But you can get a non-remote blank key for about $15 on line. You can get blank remote key's with and without electronics too but the $87 dollar figure is about right for with. You need at least two keys to program a third or you need the dealer or a locksmith.

One other thing, the programming is a one shot deal. If you program the key wrong you can't erase it and start over. The dealer will charge you a lot more than an on line seller but they will cut it and program it too. If I was down to one key I think I would seriously consider having the dealer sell me a new one then I would buy additional on line blanks. When I misplaced one of my remote keys I went out and bought three new regular chipped keys as soon as I found it.
