) Yes they are protected under copyright but selling metal parts is totaly legal. Just write "Gift" on the package and send them to a smart friend capable of completing "his" project....You follow me...

Remember me some discrambler kit I sold long ago, assembled was a big NO NO and totaly agains the law, but in kit form they past under electronic parts exportation...

PS: If your metal parts look like a MG42 or a AK 47 receiver ..good chance you make a nice stay in jail.. :ROTFL:

Nagra... Ah, that was the *other* orbital service. I never messed with that one or C-band, didn't want to start Jtag hacking amongst other things. I had a nice little collection of readers and encoders for my own hobby service... Those were fun days, and sports never looked better until HDTV.

I wonder if it will ever come out however that the ultimate source for the information and files was the card maker themselves... Seeing as (at the time) they were supplying the cards to the company that they eventually purchased for a MUCH reduced value, because of all the 10%-15% piracy the service was enduring.

Said card company owner is currently involved in a little testimony brouhaha in England over some cellphone hacking for his newspapers... So obviously he isn't above a little industrial espionage when it serves his needs. Also interesting that once the TV service company was purchased... The net hacking percentage dropped to zero almost overnight as every hole was plugged immediately.

I don't see no patent numbers on them pins.

If you came to those same measurements yourself, and want to check them against known measurements.. that is not a crime.
Who says we are making these? Maybe we find a tool that happens to match those measurements.

We are not advocating copying. Just discussing information.

You can take long guns across the border but you must declare them and fill out the forms/pay fees. Handguns are a no-no.

I believe you can take handguns, if you fill out the significant additional paper work in advance. You would also not be allowed to take them hunting...it would be mostly for competitive target shooters.

In addition there are numerous makes and models of handguns that are prohibitied here due to issues such as magazine capacity and barrel length.
