I should've also mentioned that the AAMCO out in Victorville said that there were no transmission problems upon checking.
The transmission was repaired just this month in Lubbock.

Are you sure they used ATF+4? Positive? Did they tell you they did and used some generic crap? Non-ATF+4 in a Chrysler transmission is known to cause all kinds of headaches.

Been there, have the shirt.

So, does anyone have any pictures of the particular wires I should be testing?
Also, the suspect parts that might've gone out in picture as well would be quite helpful.

I'm forwarding these to the few people I have in the area where the Liberty is so things could be sped up a bit more.

Go here to search for a used part at a junk yard throughout the country : http://www.car-part.com/

This is a site that is used by garages, repair shops, and even dealers. Surprise!!!

Same here. PO had the tranny serviced at Pep Boys (just found the receipt). Shocker, it blew up not too long after.

Tons of transmission shops, Ounces of trustworthy places.
Picking up the trade doesn't seem like a bad idea anymore.

So, any idea on any particular "electrical gremlins" that might be inhibiting transmission performance?
As I said, the tranny shop I went to isn't being pretty quiet on the issue and the electrical place they referred me to is rather close by to a shop that destroyed a Bronco II I had several years ago.

I picked up my CRD from the dealer on Tuesday and the service department couldn't figure out why the transmission wasn't shifting into 3rd, 4rth, and fifth. Chrysler customer care in Detroit was on it from the start and directed the service manager into performing many different test to see what the cause could be.

They replaced 26 different parts within 7 weeks and gave up on it. They concluded that a remanufactured transmission would be in order.

Runs good now, shifts perfect. It's just a little more louder at idle than my previous transmission.

Wondering if this noise is normal.

Your transmission makes noise at idle?
My transmission doesn't make any noise while idling.
At least none that can be heard over the sound of the engine.

What kind of noise are you talking about?

I'm already about $4000 in the hole on the AAMCO yob.
Another $2000 into this failed experiment won't really seem to matter either.
Guess it's time to start scoping out some street corners as a second gig.

Not to mention if that will even totally rectify the issue altogether.

Did you ever resolve your issue? If so, what did you find? I'm having the same issues myself. :(
