I am thinking Warp2diesel installed a centrifuge on his CRD to keep his oil clean?

Take a look at pabiodieslsupply.com. I recently bought a 125GPH kit. Not done anything with it yet. to many projects. There are 'many folks with TDI's and crd trucks running black diesel. The centrifuge and 1 micron filter handle particles. But viscosity is a big issue. Many folks use RUG at 15% and mix 80/20. Others use TW3 and diesel for a 55Gal drum mix.
I believe that a lift pump and a fattywagon heater line would also be necessary for most.

I burned a little over 350 gallons of wmo in my CRD at 50/50. It still gets great mileage and fuel system appears to be unharmed. I used a centrifuge that spins at 6000 RPM then I run it through a ten and then 3 micron filter when filling. I have upgraded the filter on the Jeep to a 2 micron absolute caterpiller filter. It will get about the same mileage as regular diesel but you will have problems with the turbo sticking. There is a lot of extra dust or ash when it burns and this tightens up the tolerances in the turbo that allows the veins to swing freely. I would only recommend using it in a vehicle with a non variable turbo.

anything smaller than 1 micron i dont think would be a problem. the diesel fuel doesnt even get filtered that fine.

That's true. The stock filter is either 2 micron or 5 micron, I don't recall which right off. So no, regular diesel doesn't get filtered that fine. It also isn't guaranteed to contain a ton of crap in that size range.

My personal feeling is I'd not do it. There is no way I could burn enough diesel at retail to pay for the cost of replacing the entire fuel system even if the used motor oil and filters were free. By my calculations, at $3.80 a gallon, your break even point is about 67,000 miles.
