This excercize is important to remind folks that comparing this engine to CUMMINS and DMAXX and F**D is never such a good idea, as nothing is similar enuff to assume that it will be correct in applied execution

GDE sez to time the IP - takes only a few minutes more to accomplish correct index - so time it - simple as that....................................

FYI:
In each case where timing is stated as not necessary, the CP3 is driven by a metal gear-train
- the KJ CRD has a nylon-reinforced rubber timing belt
- I don't see those FSM's suggesting timing gear replacement at ~60kmi
- I do see the KJ FSM suggesting timing belt replacement at ~60kmi
- set it and ferget it
