I know its been a while, but I am finally finding some time to work on this jeep again..... I solved the radio issue, the door lock issue, and the window issues. The one issue i am still having, is that the interior lights stay on. The only way they will turn off is if I disconnect the battery. Or remove the fuse that powers them, but that fuse also controls the door locks, windows, etc..... The display isn't showing any doors ajar. Any Ideas as to why they wont turn off? Also, could anyone tell me what kind of draw they have on their battery with nothing on? If I pull the bulbs out of my cabin lights I still show a parasidic drain of about 1.6 amps... The only way I can get it to drop is to pull the BCM fuse... Then it drops to about .09 to .10 amps.

Yeah 1.6 amps is way too much...are you measuring this current in circuit with the leads going to the interior bulbs ie. from the back end of the relevant internal light fuses? With the lamps pulled and the fuse pulled out have you measured the back end of the internal lamp fuse for resistance to ground or for DC volts to the positive side of the battery with reference to chassis? You should not get any resistance to ground or any voltage reading to the positive side of the battery

The BCM definitely controls the switching off..slowly..of the internal lights.

I presume you have checked the rotary switch on the left stalk is not turned all the way forward?
The multifunction switch may be faulty...use your circuit diagram to check that this part of the rotary switch is functioning properly.

The internal lights have switches to switch them ON/OFF by pressing on the plastic lens of the light cover...have you checked those switches are not faulty?

Well done on finding the bad wires in that front harness...been there done that...I had about 6 wires with partial shorts to ground or other wires after a right front collision...had to isolate those wires on both ends and replace with new ones.
