I've been running a gde hot tune on my stock converter and its fine. I get very minor shudder when I'm locked in 5th doing less that 65mph trying to climb some of the mountains here in Utah. It's very minor, you could even mistake it for the motor lugging

Running the Yeti Stage IV Hot tune along with an adjustable Diablo Power Puck and a Suncoast Converter and cannot make it shudder under any situation including towing. The Suncoast will handle anything you can subject it to with the 2.8 CRD, its tough and the way to go if you can swing the price....

What does the diablo power puck do, just increase fuel rail pressure? Does it effect boost? If so what boost are you running and how much smoke are you getting with both the tune and puck combined.

I'm running a stock TC with YETI's 450Nm hot tune. Some shudder that I can control for now. Ordered and will soon install a HD Florida TC that is guaranteed to handle anything the 2.8 can produce. http://www.floridatorqueconverters.com/ ... 45RFE.html

Check out the DIY thread for free tunes...just the cost of a $20 MPPS cable/software from ebay. Don't get overwhelmed by the number of posts in the thread. If you can do basic computer functions, have decent reading comprehension skills and own a laptop it's relativity easy. All info on the first page of the thread viewtopic.php?f=98&t=78418
