I changed my fuel filter today... will change the oil this week sometime. Need to find out where the fuel leak is coming from when you top up the tank... I think it is the vent hose, and also need to replace the parking brake shoes.

... Today I washed my CRD with Zep-O-Shine car wash (GOOD stuff BTW), and last night I replaced the blower motor resistor. I put about 1000 miles on it this past week for work. Thinking of ordering a set of slush mats and a cargo tray, both of which I sold to my buddy Steve when I traded in the CRD, which I have since bought back, as some of you already know...

Factory fan clutch was dead, so replaced fan and fan clutch with 19" flex fan and 2" solid spacer. There is quite a bit of roar under the hood at anything below 40mph and engine speeds above 1500 RPM, but I like knowing the intercooler is getting constant flow of air at all speeds.

I'm fortunate to have a buddy who is a well-trained mechanic and who's family has a large, well-equipped shop, and who seems interested in working on this little diesel with me and doesn't mind having me hovering around asking a bunch of dumb questions. We finally got our schedules to line up and got around to replacing my thermostat today, along with replacing the stock fan clutch with the recommended Hayden clutch. Both updates made an immediate difference, temp went right up to the normal range (hasn't been there in months), and the fan had kicked in by the time I got home after using the AC for a little while.
Now I just need to get my transmission serviced before the fall road-trips to the Dakotas begin.

Replaced driver side motor mount. It's a pain the arsk. ! I had to drop the front diff down the cross member to have enough room to reach the bottom bolt, but I think I got it pretty tight.

Next, is the passenger mount. As, I still get a slight thunk - no rattles from that side - just a slight thunk.

Next stop, GDE tune, Frankenlift, and legitimate tires....

(I just took over the Libby from the wife, who's now driving my TJ)

Not really "today" but a few weeks ago installed 5 Goodyear Duratrac tires (amazing grip) and also replaced the TPMS sensors, two of which stopped working a few days later :furious: which I still haven't gotten around to getting them swapped out - busy with "life". :juggle:

In between the new tires and the flex fan, (see above posts) ended up having to install new Samco boost hoses.

Took a few days to get them ordered, but in the meantime silicone self fusing tape worked amazingly well. Probably could have driven another couple thousand miles with the patch job, but why risk it. Right?

Standard 235/75R16, which seem much larger (definitely beefier) than the Toyo Open Country HT All Season tires they replaced.

Swapped all the tyres around, and took the opportunity to spray the bushings with silicon/teflon lube. Dusted the floor on the drivers side (that's our drivers side obviously) to see if I can find where that sodding small leak is coming from!

While at ECS last weekend I got stuck in the mud and slammed shut the rear right door a little too hard. Instantly the window dropped into the door. I've already replaced the rear left regulator twice. Soooooooo I replaced this rear right with a stiegler repair kit, so far so good.
