SEGR equipped, and no kitty.I also must add that I run WVO 99% of the time so it needs advanced timing for correct detonation.WVO runs cooler than #2,and with the segr I have noticed some higher temps, but doesn't seem too high,Currently 27MPG around town 32MPG hiway.Any input greatly appreciated.

Each fuel has its' own characteristics that will change the timing requirements.

For example doing ORM or SEGR to get rid of the EGR effectively raises Cetaine and effectively advances timing do to the change in burn characteristics by increasing oxygen supply.

One guy is discussing tangerines vs Navel Oranges and others are talking about Granny Smith vs Macintosh.

sorry for any confusion with the wvo,I'm not sure of the advancement degrees but today I did a test=#2 with jammer at position two for 30 miles=1.1 gallon out of my 5.5 gallon tank=27.27 mpg. This was mixed driving 40% hi-way,40% around town, and 20 % hammering on it.On all hi-way on #2, 30 miles @62mph=.93 gallon=32.2 mpg. There is a 2 mpg increase on my CRD on #2 between jammer off,and set to second position.........H

Here are the pics of the switch I made.

Preliminary tests show a gain of 3mpg at position 3- 1940 ohms. (hand calculated)
I will test each position to get more conclusive results.

I am running stock F37 tune and have not encountered any loss in performance
and no driveability issues.

Nice setup!

keep posting your results.

I think those results have to come from a NO inmotion or GDE , tuned files have timing modifications

Alright, finally completed some tests.
Not sure what to think. Either the resistor didn't help MPG or my testing
was really inconsistent. No driveability issues and no noticable change in
performance. All tests were done with straight dino from the pump at the
same station. MPG was hand calculated using the trip odo.
All driving was done during my normal commute along mostly rural roads.

0- no resistor 27 mpg
1- 700ohms 26 mpg
2- 1260 26 mpg
3- 1940 28 mpg
4- 2500 26 mpg
5- 3180 27 mpg
