Spotted a silver CRD with L.O.S.T. sticker on lower left of rear door, and I think AZ tags on it, last Thursday or Friday in Round Rock TX on Gattis School Road. Did you get the 2.8l stickers on the hood off this forum? I WANT SOME TOO!!

Nice looking ride btw.

Spotted a Green CRD with a bunch of bumper stickers in Wrigleyville in Chicago. It was parked just outside my office. I saw it as I was walking to a Cubs game.

Hey Gerge - I saw on this site that people recommend the Innova 3030 for a code scanner. I have a check engine light, but the (cheaper) Harbor Freight scanner I used wasn't showing a code. Do you have any code reader recommendations? Thanks.

No I am sorry I do not. I am thinkng of getting a gde ecotune, believe tha tool used for that works as a scanner as well. I have had autozone pull codes for me, and there is a list of the codes on here somewhere.

Thanks! I'll see if autozone can do something...hopefully not the EGR valve... that link to the codes is:

I got a $100 Innova from Wal-Mart that works great. I think it is the 3130.

Gunpowder Grey '06 limited, I-75 North, Payne's Prairie Rest Area just south of Gainesville, FL. Stopped and talked to the owner, a very sweet retired lady in her late 60s that told me she will get rid of it when the wheels fall off. She currently has 40K, never any problems.

Pulled into the auto parts store today to pick up a backup fuel filter for my new (to me) '05 CRD. There's a blue limited '05 CRD in the lot also, Colorado plates, some mud splashed up the sides. Standing in line trying to pick out whose it might be in the store, and I leave right behind the guy. Ask him if he minded if I asked him about it. "Is it yours?" I start. "No, it's my mother-in-law's" he replies. Felt immediately downgraded a few notches, but nevertheless pointed out mine to him...

Felt reassured once I got him to admit that he loves it and it's been running strong with no unique problems for 70k now. Should be able to spot a few more. Since getting this, I seem to go out of my way to look for the CRD badges on every KJ I see. hah.

I saw a blue Limited with Colorado plates pulling into the bank at 2nd and University in Cherry Creek on Saturday 09 October. Looked clean, really clean. It was the first CRD I've seen in the Denver area in a long time.
