It may have been cleaned because the oil separator mostly spewed it all over the outside of the engine. Is there supposed to be a gasket around that thing?
I know what the picture shows friend, I've taken apart several. I still stand by my statement, it's pretty darn clean considering age. Even in the Cam area.
