I just picked up my CRD today and love it, but i have a couple of questions... 1. When i have the wheel cranked all the way to either right or left and im in "drive" and take my foot off the break, the car does not move, it almost feels like the tires are rubbing and stopping it from moving, but i checked and they are not rubbing at all. 2. Being that i purchased a demo, how do i know if and what TSB have been done on my CRD? Thanks in advance |

On the TSB's they often post a sticker on the under side of the hood indicating the TSB done and the date it was done. If they haven't then ask them to print it out of their computer as they are required to track all that stuff by VIN. Don't know on question 1. Welcome aboard. You'll love your CRD. |

Thanks in advance Do you have your CRD in one of the 4x4 modes. If it is in Part-Time, that could cause it too bind from a complete stop and wheel turned. FYI- Part-Time is for off-road and an amber light will light on instrument panel. Just think of Amber as Caution. Full-Time is for any condition (onroad AWD basically) and a green light will light on instrument panel. Just think of Green as Go. Hope that helps. Glad you finally got L.O.S.T. |

Thanks for the help, i may have had it in a 4x4 mode, but cant remember now as it was happening when i was playing with the 4x4 modes. Ive been on jeep.com to learn how to use the 4x4 and the referance to the green and amber thing helps a lot. The funny thing it that my dealer told me to use part time 4x4 as normal 4 wheel drive, i though he was wrong but this conferms it. so i guess my next question is when is it better to use part time over full time?? |

Use the part time mode for really slippery conditions where you would already be going slow. Works great in deep snow and unplowed roads. Highway cruising, definately run it in full-time. Either way, the traction from the extra weight if the diesel is incredible in the snow. Can't wait to see what it will do with some real tires. |
