Does the CRD 545 Tranny with tow package have only the internal filter or also an external filter? Was looking on www.jeepworld.com and they show both an internal filter and an external. I have crawled around under my CRD and cannot locate an external filter. Am wanting to change out the factory oil and filter and put in synthetic. Would appreciate if anyone has a clue to this and can help out. Cliff |

No external filter. There are two inside the pan...a normal type and a spin-on type. |
