650 Hp 811 lb/ft torque. It is a beast. And its still got an aluminum crankcase. |

Yea that is one bad mofo of a race car, there are many performance vehicles out there with a diesel engine. BMW in Europe has some really badass cars that use diesels, I do believe that the land speed record for a motorcycle was actually set over the past year or so by a bike with a diesel engine

You have no idea about what is avalible here in Europe. That is why I love it here. If youo ever get a chance to drive a Audi A8 4.2L TDi do it. |

Thats right! Every car manufacturer has several diesel engines you can choose from. Seat makes aswesome diesels, but my favourite is still the Audi/VW TDI's, those are just unbelievable fast! On the Autobahn you often see a group of three vehicles chasing each other, a Audi a BMW and a Mercedes. You can bet that at least one of them is a TDI. When I used to live in Germany my favourite was always the Audi A6 with the 2.5 V6 TDI. These things go well over 120mph! |

The new GC with the new MB V6 CDI will do 125 mph top end and that ain't bad for AWD diesel vehicle.
