Yea that is one bad mofo of a race car, there are many performance vehicles out there with a diesel engine. BMW in Europe has some really badass cars that use diesels, I do believe that the land speed record for a motorcycle was actually set over the past year or so by a bike with a diesel engine

You have no idea about what is avalible here in Europe. That is why I love it here. If youo ever get a chance to drive a Audi A8 4.2L TDi do it.

Thats right! Every car manufacturer has several diesel engines you can choose from. Seat makes aswesome diesels, but my favourite is still the Audi/VW TDI's, those are just unbelievable fast! On the Autobahn you often see a group of three vehicles chasing each other, a Audi a BMW and a Mercedes. You can bet that at least one of them is a TDI. When I used to live in Germany my favourite was always the Audi A6 with the 2.5 V6 TDI. These things go well over 120mph!

The new GC with the new MB V6 CDI will do 125 mph top end and that ain't bad for AWD diesel vehicle.

MB diesel V8 is 156 mph with limiter and used to be worlds fastest diesel production sedan.
