So I looked on www.jeep.ca and confirmed that the CRD Limited is available in Canada. Haven't seen any posters on this board hailing from said place. Anyone out there from the Great White North? |

Do you people have ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) up there already? That's my big question, as the US hasn't yet gone the ULSD route. |

Many folks are buying CRD in Canada, remember gas is much pricier, and diesel is actually cheaper than high octane *as it should be* Still can't get why cruder oil could cost same as 92 octane, its less processing <insert favorite swearing here> !!! BTW if Canadian are Great White, is US tiger shark???? |

I am from Canada and the low sulfur diesel has not hit here yet, I here it won't be long but right now diesel is 97.9 cents per litre and gas is at 115.9 cents per litre, pretty big difference!!! |

Good luck with that... I'm a Canadian but now in the US, haven't lived in Canada for 11 years now. If my countryman want to be "social" like europe,I don't see any reason they shouldn't also enjoy the prices of things in europe... |

With $4.40/gallon gas, the 4.7 V8 sounds like it gets real expensive, real fast. Ditto for a Hemi in a Ram. Pity about the EGR valve -- you may want to read the Old Navy Alphabet Soup thread for solutions that OldNavy and other members of this forum have come up with for a variety of CRD issues, including this one. |

Hello All. Shell/Sunoco/Esso sell ULSD in Ontario, Shell stations around ontario have it at approx 5/c per litre more. -Gab |

Another Canuck here. Will hit 10,000km on the OD on the way home from work later today. Diesel in Edmonton sits at $0.96/L. Did a road trip from Edmonton to Lilooet last weekend, 1900km round trip. Pretty steep windy roads from Kamloops to Lilooet. Jeep did just fine. Averaging 8.2L per 100km (about 29mpg) while doing an average of 115km/h the whole way. It was 42C/108F in Lilooet, did some steep climbs on some logging roads and the jeep's temp stayed steady the whole way, if you want to check out some nice country I highly recommend taking the back roads through Lillooet if you are heading to Vancouver from anywheres east of Kamloops. |

I'm from Calgary, Alberta, and yes I do work in the 'patch' and have cashed my Ralph Bucks. ULSD is now being refined and distributed here, ( http://www.albertafuel.com/news_52006.html ) but I have yet to see any stations displaying ULSD stickers. I think they are waiting for the mixed lsd ulsd stuff to go through the system before rebadging the pumps. As far as I can tell other than day time running lights and a speedo in KM's I don't think there are any differences between the US and Canadian CRDs. I have the same tranny stutter problems, chattering rear disk brakes, occasional engine sputter and die probelm, etc. as many others have posted. I was let down by the fact that my '06 didn't come with a full tank of B5 diesel, I just got a coupon for $50.00 at a local filling station. I'm not sure if the 07 diesels will face the same emisions requirements as the US models, but I'm pretty sure transport Canada will just follow whatever the US does. I really do like my CRD, but wish DC would recognise the fact that we are really a group of over 10000 testers of new diesel prototypes and give us a little more (any!) communication with the factory engineers. |

Ditto for me but as RFCRD has mentioned he believes the Chrysler engineers don't have a clue |
