Post subject:  asking Dr. Z

I ask Dr. Z when the EGR parts on national back order would be available and what were they doing to solve EGR issue. No reply... I think he may not be a real doctor :?

I e-mailed Dr. Z regarding this as well and got a similar repsonse. Their response does not address the 2007 Liberty CRD specifically; it simply addresses the 2007 Liberty in general.

I don't think Dr. Z answered the question.

I think Daimler should spend a lot less time obsessing over the Dr. Z marketing crap and a lot more time focusing on the quality issues surrounding the overall reliability of their cars and trucks. I have two Diamler-Chrysler cars and I like them both, but I'd hardly call either one of them reliable.

Now there's a customer quote you won't soon be hearing him say with his charming german accent in his next TV commercial

Good point you make there about reliability. That said I have 2 D/C vehicles, the Magnum has been bullit proof, and the CRD has had fewer problems then either of my VW TDI cars, far more reliable then our Toyota Echo, about on par with my last Nissian truck that failed to start 2 different times out in the woods, a we won't even discuss my luck with Ford cars & trucks.

I think we should all remember it is a machine made by humans and they will never be perfect.

You guys crack me up!!! I needed a good laugh tonight and I find it hilarous that Dr. Z is being bombarded with irate CRD owners, asking for parts and transmission fixes. I love this forum... :-) Maybe we should shoot for a goal of 100 emails to Dr. Z all asking the same question about repairs on our CRD's...

Dr. Z, when are you going to fix the dumkoph thing between ze wheelz and ze diezel that keeps smoking up ze tailenpipe?
Dr. Z, when will ze smokingpipe be made goodzenugh to last more than one pair of liederhosen?

or

PS: for German speaking members, this is babelfish translation...
