I was checking my muffler system to find out what was making that droning noise and I found that my drive shaft is completely rusted along with my rear axle, some suspension components in the front and my muffler(who cares). Is this normal? BTW I cut my bump stops in the rears maybe increasing the suspenion travel smoothing the ride (yeah right!) I took those pieces and propped the rear muffler hanger down to simulate the foot on the muffler fix. |

All Normal THe early 2002's had the suspension components painted but to save $$$, DC stopped that...shouldn't be a problem |

In my case the quantity of road salt used in NE Ohio is brutal on vehicles. I chose to go straight from the dealer to the Ziebart shop as I intend to keep this Jeep for awhile and most of the used Cherokees I looked at were about to break in two from corrosion. Still see rust on untreated items such as driveshafts and exhaust parts. |

Will Rust Bullet work on those parts. People swear by it. I started using it on the exposed metal etc. Maybe I should try it on the driveshaft and other parts. |
