A dealership in Orlando has a 2005 Liberty CRD with 26,000 miles and are asking $19,500. This vehicle is not a Sport nor Limited as it has no power locks and crank windows. Where would this have come from? Where these the early edition. I have no interest in the vehicle as I have one and love it. However I do have a co-worker is interested in one and can't find find either used or new. That version or that price has him intersted....

I have an "early" edition sport (2/05 build). It has power windows/locks, etc and a sun roof plus some other options. The sticker was about 25.5, but I paid around 22 and got them to throw in extended warranty and some other items. I think the price you noted seems high, but with the CRD being rare now it might be getting expensive.

The vehicle you describe with no power options seems like the old Cherokee "SE" which my neighbor had. It was a striped loss leader model below the sport and had no power anything. It did have a 6 cyl engine and a manual tranny though.

This could have been a special order Sport with certain options deleted. I have the 05 limited which stickered at $30,190 with all the bells and whistles and I paid $24,700 for it. Six months later, I saw the exact model used at the dealership for $22,500 used with 20,000 miles. The same dealership had purchased the 05 limited for $19,500 wholesale at auction before placing it on the lot.

So, if I extrapolate if they are asking $19,500 for the model your mentioning then it's about $16,500 wholesale.
