Post subject:  Ball Joint Thread LOCKED!!!!
Don't they realize we don't leave here!!!If we want to talk about gas caps, are they going
to lock that one also because all libertys have gas caps?? A moderator comes in here
that I have never seen and locks our thread. Hmm guess they don't know about diesel
freaks, they don't leave here.

Notice the quote about how the ball joint won't have the same wear pattern since the vehicle has been redesigned?

WTF? Maybe he was talking about since the 2004 inquiry (i.e. '05-'06 newer mild body styling) but the IFS is the same for all years! They will just keep replacing crap with the same old crap.

Seems like the extra weight of the CRD would wear LBJs quicker. Everything else being equal. Offroading seems to be a major factor too.

Yeah, and after being lectured about snorkels by some of "them", I'm not eager to leave here either. :wink:

Who's we? I understand that my the only difference between my Liberty and the rest of them is an engine.

With that said, I'm at least an active participant in the General and 4x4 forums.

I never go to any other section. I can't say that it is a good idea to lock us out of something in the CRD section. How about another moderator unlocking it.

At the end of some heated discussion between a few of the mods, it has been decided that the multiple threads should have been left alone in the beginning. Discuss away! :lol:

How we decided the issue was this. We went to JeepsUnlimited.com and posted the Ball Joint Recall in the Wrangler Forum and waited...tick tock tick tock

We waited to get a response from Dillinger (famous for his true love of the Liberty and IFS and the direction it has taken Jeep). His response was that he wished all the ball joints would explode and leave us running on our IFS LCA's. That way he could see us coming down the street to his house by the sparks we were shooting.

It left us NO CHOICE but to double...no triple...no quadruple post the Ball Recall ( no reference to Lance )

We might not always know what we are doing here...but there is a method to our madness :twisted:

Well in the case of pixeldnz and DarbyWalters, it came down to shoving popsicles in certain orafices to cool things down...mine was Cherry of course. :shock:

They may have also moved it because of a "new" recall for all LBJs on 02-06 Libertys...

Does anyone know the build dates that are affected by this recall on the 2006 MY vehicles? Mine shows a build date of 01/2006, so I am wondering if I need to have this recall done.
